Tonight was our first official ‘date’ since the ‘secret’. I planned everything. Went to Aracri’s restaurant.  Ordered both our meals. When the meal arrived, Jake said it was perfect. Had dinner and cocktails and celebrated what a perfect life we have started. Afterwards, both feeling competitive, we decided to go to the VFW to appease our competitive appetite in pool. As we have done many times. The only difference tonight was that Jake started talking smack, so I beat her ass five straight games. But I did tell her, despite the fact that she lost, she still looked really hot. That didn’t help the cause though.

It has been a wonderful first date since the secret and upon arriving at home, I resolved to make my first real blog. Beyond these words, I am clueless, tired, and have to get up early. So I will leave you with this thought. It’s not what you wish and hope for, it’s what is in your heart and what you make out of life.

Just look at how happy I am.
